Hi There, I’m Kyla Feliz-Williams, founder of Resilient Roads
About Kyla
My path to starting Resilient Roads Counseling came from my own experiences with mental and physical health. As a caretaker and clinician living with chronic illness, I’ve navigated balancing self-care while supporting others. I recognized the need for better support systems in the helping professions, which led me to create Resilient Roads Counseling. Our goal is to help you not just survive but truly thrive.
In my personal time, I find joy in reconnecting with nature to recharge, spending quality time cuddling with my dog, Shadow, and staying active through CrossFit. I’m also passionate about giving back to my community and serve on a local community engagement board. These activities ground me and fuel my passion for helping others find balance and resilience in their own lives.

I understand that navigating life’s changes, especially when dealing with recent traumas and attachment issues, requires careful support and encouragement. We believe in the human person has inner strength and the ability to face life's challenges with new confidence.

Active Listening: I’ll listen closely to what you’re saying and how you’re feeling, aiming to understand you deeply and provide the support you need. I’ll check in throughout session often, pausing to reflect back your goals and confirming I’m understanding your needs.
Problem Solving: We’ll work together to find practical solutions and resources to your everyday challenges. I’ll work alongside you trying different strategies that fit your lifestyle and therapeutic needs.
